I had the exact same thoughts regardng the equipment and i am as sure as one can be at this point that the Paladin will get a shield! Not sure about the helmet, but regarding the podcast with Bryan Pope he said something with "truesight" on an equipment to see through the illusions of the illusionist - this could very well be named helmet!

Exchange him for Dispels and Dissolves to get the best out of him!

- no life lost!
- no average attacks!
- useful in much more situations!


Honest answer: If you'd want him to work, I'd say you should go Sardonyx all the way and absuse his "psychological effect" same as the Adramelech Lord of Fire or Vashalla - just to put the enemy mage in a spot where he is not sure if he should attack him or your mage. Support him, as mentioned, by slowing the enemy and leave everything else as food for sardonyx. If your life becomes curial low, just sacrifice him and go for the +8 Dice

Both swarmtypes are awesome!

There is not much to add here and whatever you choose just do not play Sardonyx and pay attention to the Zombie Frenzy combo! I'd choose skellies too, simply because i like armory and the skeletal knight :D

I like how community-based you design your videos for us, but there is absolutly no element of surprise if you and your friend know the exact content of each others spellbook.

Deciding the mages was cool, but please build your own spellbooks without our help, otherwise just use the standart books, if they are fairly balanced.

Would someone agree to this? What makes vines that good? My problem with the Druid is that, while she might be super strong, she has two weak spots:

1.Her vulnerability against fire/flame (Adramelech Warlock is going to be her Nemesis!)

2. Needing LoS to use her vines

She seems a bit slow too, but maybe someone may correct me on my points!

Zombie frenzy is awesome and i can not think of a good counter besides of WizardControl and playing ONE BIG DUDE and most swarmbooks also include named dude to be able to counter it. What other coutners did you think of?

My version of the Curselock - Sectarus and Sersiryx form the core pieces and a battleforge may help me to equip my mage! I added more Teleports/Force Pushs as usual to gain more speed. Blood Demons should trigger enemy guards and Adramelech is "the big guy" for when i am unable to handle a swarm and to create a "no go" area :D
If the enemy mage is solo as well I switch to ranged fireball-wand with fireshaper ring.

What are your thought? Less wardstones? Maybe add a bear strength and Mongoose Agility?
