Strategy and Tactics / Re: How to beat zombie necromancer?

Or put up a wall of spikes and keep mass pushing, he runs in takes damage, attacks, no damage taken, push him out, and repeat :D very frustrating

It is because forcemaster would kill the zombie necro in her sleep

My necro strategy:
Turn one: death ring plus libro move
Turn two summon skeleton minion plus shadow cloak move
Turn three: meditation amulate plus skeleton minion meditate
Turn four: skeleton minion plus graveyard meditate
Turn five: skeleton minion plus mage wand meditate
Turn 6 : mort plus bind zombie frenzy meditate, charge skeletons one square
Turn7: summon a zombie meditate, attack w skeletons
After, you keep summoning zombies till you loose all your skeleton, then repeatedly use zombie frenzy

Well brutes can guard but have bloodthirsty, so they have to attack if they can... a tough wounded creature can therefore draw off all the guards.

Zombies are incredibly tough and strong for the points, but bloodthirstiness and speed are both problems for them. Pushing/teleporting the necromancer away from his swarm and putting up walls isn't a bad start. Also just quick, early attacking. If you're in his face on the third turn, a battleforge/libro/ring approach is just too slow.

Just wait till the never packs a mage wand and zombie frenzy plus nullifies

The shade can summon creatures also, though there are limited options. Shadow stepping is also magical(similar to TP). It works.

Also, about the weapons master,  he could be regular and just have all other schools coast triple.

1. Warlord is not technically a mage because (except dwarf) he all he does can be done without magic. Therefor it makes the shade possible.
2. Though you say the weapons master has too many main classes, he could be like the archmage.

If I'm forgetting anything, please let me know ;).

Player Feedback and Suggestions / Re: Any chance for a chaos mage?
« on: July 15, 2014, 08:56:21 PM »
Here is my idea:

Mayhem master: trained in mind school. Uses illusions, clones, psionic attacks, and my favorite : Mayhem conditions! They would consist of confusion: when the target is activated, it moves one share in a random direction. If it lands in a zone with one or more creatures, make a legal attack on a random creature using the effect die. Then destroy confusion. Mayhem:  '' but  the marker stays.

One thing I would like to see is is a chaos mage. Think it might happen.

Spells / Re: Wizard Tower
« on: July 15, 2014, 11:00:58 AM »
Just use akiros hammer for this, not good for much more but take down tower with this, also use grimson dead eye, wall of steel and archer tower, or conquer, for warlord. warlock, drain soul all the way, ignore the tower. Beast master... no. druid, strangle vine, run, strangle vine, run... Necro maybe swarm. forcemaster thought spores with forcefield and nullifies. Priestess, heal on mage wand.

Or you could just set up a couple hydras, a wizard tower, suppression clock and an elemental, swam goes poof  :D.

Mages / Re: Paladin and Siren speculation
« on: July 11, 2014, 06:53:01 AM »
There is a very great possibility that terrain cards will be in PvS because Siren will primarly work with them. But i am not so sure about frost. I know it could fit into water school of Siren but i have a feeling that there is a ice mage out there, living in tundras and having a polar bear as his best friend.

Exactly!!!!! (And hopefully)

What if you get 2 slams?

Spells / Don't you think force bash is underrated
« on: July 10, 2014, 10:31:35 PM »
One spell no one ever talks about: force bash!!
A cheap coast to get an automatic 1-2 slams at a time! Does any one have any ideas to stop it other than hurl boulder and hundreds of nullifies?
