Lol, thanks Intangible. I think you're mistaking me for somebody else. :) I'm always getting beat by schwenkgott and juli on OCTGN...

Great news! I really like the idea of a challenge match via Skype. I might be up for it. :)

Thanks for the explanation Sailor Vulcan. Good points all, strengthening the community. However, I'll still be hoping for a simple 1v1 league due to time constraints.

Finding time is hard enough as is, but finding a time slot with even more people seems impossible for me at the moment and I'd imagine I'm not alone in this boat... :(
Just because your on a team doesn't mean you have to schedule a game with your team members. You can schedule a game against another player on a different team and play a 1 on 1 game (all day long if you want). These games would just go to meet your teams global games needed in league play.
Hmm, ok. I guess that's just nothing for me then at the moment. If I play a 1v1 without anybody from my team watching, then I see no difference to a "solitary" league game. Deck and strategy discussion is already happening elsewhere and there are plenty of resources around to become a better player.
I'll keep watching this thread and who knows, maybe I will come to realize how this really "works" but for now I'll stick to my spontaneous evening matches against random opponents.

Ok, didn't read the opening post too closely. But then I'm wondering: Why teams in the first place? Why not just run a normal league where anybody can participate as long as a minimum number of games against different opponents is played?

160
I'd be interested too, however I'm now a fan of 2v2. Are there or have there been plans to run a "normal" league for individual players?

Since the recent update, Harmonize does not seem to work or we're doing something wrong. After attaching, it does say

"theasaris attaches Harmonize to Wizard's Tower",

but during Upkeep only the regular mana is added:

"Harmonize found but no Mana added
Found Channeling stat 1 in card Wizard's Tower
Mana added to 'Wizard's Tower'".

Anybody experiencing this problem as well?

I very much prefer "real" games too, but we are 500+km apart. For now we'll just be streaming the game as it is with live commentary just like playing face to face, but there won't be strategy discussion before the game. If interest is high enough, there's nothing keeping us from improving the coverage for future games though. :)

Hi all, as some of you already saw, Zilfalon and I tried out the livestreaming option on OCTGN via Twitch yesterday. It worked really well and we'd like to do this regularly in the future. We're planning on showing another live match this coming Thursday. I'll confirm when we have agreed on a specific time (likely afternoon/evening CET).
