Hey guys, I just want to hear your opinions on my latest book... It is a zombie necromancer with 2 spawnpoints. Here it is:

Turn 1 (20): mana crystal (5) + ring (5)
Turn 2 (21): move + graveyard (14) (to the centre square near middle) + amulet (4)
Turn 3 (14+1): deploy venomous zombie (7-1-1) + meditate (+3) + qc libro (10)
Turn 4 and beyond - getting zombies out, meditating for mana, cursing oponent... :)

Hey there,
Zombie hordes are awesome! The double spawn Necromancer is one of the strongest late game spellbooks out there. An issue it runs is that it is very slow to setup. Most experienced players know how to read the Necromancer and will move in very quickly and derail your setup (usually with 10+ dice scaling up per round starting at the 4 turn). The problem the Necromancer usually faces is they die right as they gain enough power to feel confident again.

Some of your best spells to use to survive - Agony, Brace Yourself, Walls (this might interrupt your 4th turn though)
If you want basic survival Drain Soul and Drain Life go great with the Libro.

There are also Wizards that have great mid and late game builds that decide turn 1 to double move, Wizard's Tower, Jet Stream or Hurl Boulder you and lay on the aggression.

Personally I prefer Malacoda with Skeleton builds. I'm curious if you have success stories with the Zombie horde though! I find that he doesn't have to attack and can just sit in my Necro's zone (or slowly move 1 one with my necro). Force Push, Teleport and Cheetah Speed are great support spells for him.

I would take out your Demonhide Armor and replace it with a Dragonscale or a Storm Drake Hide (not getting stunned will allow you to meditate) Since you have a horde yourself I don't think you need a Damage Barrier (personally I would just take circle of fire or lightning anyway).

I'm curious on Shaggoth-Zora. Do you plan to cast him every game, or is there a contingency to cast him? I assume you want to combo him with the Graveyard.

Have you found the actions to cast the leather equipment? I'm wondering if a Rhino Hide would be better for you since you don't have a Battle Forge.

I've ran zombies and it's a blast. I can't stress this enough. Force Wave! If a druid is hnderng you then it may give you a push to rush with the zombe frenzy. I'll try to give more input later.

I'm intrigued by the relatively low number of frenzies without a Mage wand. Do you get the zombies to work well without it each turn in the late game?

I decided to change slightly my book. I am still focusing on double spawnpoint, but I am also concentraded on poison conditions in here.

The remaining 2 points are for PLAGUED card and I was hoping to include second Drain Soul, but no room left... Could you suggest please what can I cut to put it in?

My advice is that two poison clouds, malacoda, two teleports, two forcewaves, and three frenzies is a lot of point dedication to positioning. Drop a cloud, drop two forcewaves. Two teleports three frenzies and a wand should keep them where you want, and your creatures near them. Consider an enfeebled if you feel that leaves them with too much freedom of movement.

Not sure how often you will be close enough for the staff to help.

I wouldn't suggest running ichtalids. They are creatures that require a very specific book to work out. Have you played games where you cast them? I'm curious if your normal zombies already do the same things that the Ichtalids do.
