Congratulations to our Top 4:

1st place Matt: Wizard.
2nd Place Jay: Araxian Crown Warlock.
3rd place: Zot: Paladin.
4th place: Jimillia: Necromancer.

The other mages were:

Silverclawgrizzly: Druid.
Littlenog: Druid.
Sarah: Force Master.
Marcus: Forcemaster.
Josh: Adramelech Warlock.
Devilsvendetta: Paladin.
Jim: Siren.
Darrell: Straywood Beastmaster.

Saw some truly amazing matches and a few things should be noted.

Littlenog fought with great skill. He also sadly fought on an empty stomach and very little rest. After having defeated both Matt and Zot in grueling mentally exhausting matches he received very little rest time as he won on time(going a little over both times.) He lost his 3rd round match to me due to simply being exhausted not because I am in any way better with a Druid than he is.

Darrell learned the game the night before and fought with my Straywood book. He fought well for a new comer and managed to get in some good hits against much more experienced opponents.

Nice update good to see a wide range of mages being represented.  Was the gate of voltari used by Matt?

I'm also very curious that there were no warlords in the tourney.

As far as new stuff out of warlord academy was there any cards represented from this set?  Looking at you pally's more specifically.

Cool update.

The spellbook section. Title the post mace 2017 1st place or something along those lines.

Also, it needs to be added to the white spires.

I love the book btw! I

I'll post the 2nd place book later.

In terms of Warlords I'd recommend we all blame RomeoZero for beating me at Gen Con lol. Had I not been mandated to play Druid my Anvil Throne would have been a serious force to be reckoned with.

Handing out stickers - wanted to give one to Grizz for running an awesome tournamnet. Also giving one out to Ash for winning it! Enjoy!

I thought banana stickers were only for being helpful, not for magical fighting prowess. Don't mean  to be a  buzz  kill, but  if you're  awarding banana stickers to players for winning tournaments rather than just for being helpful, then there are probably a LOT of people who have won past tournaments who should be given banana stickers too, just to be fair.

Might I suggest implementing wonder magnets for feats of magical combat, while reserving banana stickers for acts of kindness/generosity/helpfulness?

I've suggested this idea multiple times over the years and I would really like to see it implemented. Pretty please?

Thanks!

I am Sailor Vulcan! Champion of justice and reason! And yes, I am already aware my uniform is considered flashy, unprofessional, and borderline sexually provocative for my species by most intelligent lifeforms. I did not choose this outfit. Shut up.

Banana stickers are attaboys in general and coshade being the current one in charge of the fabled fanny pack of banana storing, he gets to decide who gets them and why.  They are all purpose "thanks for being awesomes" as far as im concerned. Adding a different sticker or token for different things can clog up the interface and just be confusing. Dispense your stickers with wild abandon coshade!
