Spells / Is Mana Flower a flower?

I know it has no gameplay effest for now, but it could and it would make sense that Mana Flower would have flower subtype.

I haven't seen this asked yet - how would Ranged +X work on creature with ranged attack that deals no damage? Ie. Hawkeye on Giant Wolf Spider?

This is fast, swarm build. I start with Ring of Beasts and try to cast at least one creature every turn.
During the following turns I put one of two Rajan's Furies and try to cast Marked for Death, as those are very effective with swarms.
After dealing some damage to the enemy I put Deathlock - it does not hurt me that much, as my small animals die from one or two hits anyway. In the following rounds I try to play Poisonous Blood and keep it face down for times when Deathlock is destroyed and when my oponent tries to heal.
I try to spread my creatures in more than one Zone, to avoid zone attacks.
If my oponent is shooter I try to block LoS of my oponent with Walls and use ground units (Foxes and Bobcats can freely run through walls). Otherwise I focus on flyers.
As I use deathlock, I don't have much healing (Staff of Bests and Renewing Spring (which can remove conditions and does not use my mage's action)) and focus rather on preventing damage (Armor, Blocks, Cobra Reflexes). Bull Endurance is the only enchantment that I find worthy to cast on my weak creatures (and reveal it before Deathlock).
Force Hammer is mainly against Obelsik and Orb.
Force Push and Jet Stream help me to charge a lot and both can be used effectively with Wall of Thornes.
I like to play at least one Bat or Lizzard just for psychological game - your oppnent can't heal and surelly would not be happy with poison.

General Questions / Decoy/Cantrip

Cantrip question:
Will Cantrip work if the spell would be countered? (I guess yes, since spell is destroyed)

Decoy questions:
1. Would you get 2 mana if Decoy would be countered?
2. Would you get 2 mana if Decoy would be destroyed with Seeking Dispel?

I guess no, since Enchantment does not grant any benefit when it is not revealed.

World and Lore / Summoning question (lore related)

How does summoning in Mage Wars works?
Is it real creature, summoned from somewhere else or created for fight duration only?

And, how death of creature works? Does corpse lies on the Arena or disapears - and furher, how resurection works?

And finaly - how Legendary creatures are summoned? There is allowed only one living (nod killed) legendary creature with the same name - but if it dies, you can summon this individual again.

Player Feedback and Suggestions / Spell-like protectors

Coloured card sleeves are usefull in MW to see owner of given card.
I would like to see protectors designed for MW for more thematic value. Of course, you can make art simmilar to spell book covers, but I have different idea.

Most time you will see revers of the card is when you have prepared spells or hidden enchantments. It would be thematic, if those cards would look like magic power. You could make specific artwork for each mage or school. In example:
Priestess/Paladin/Holly - Light aura
Necromancer/Warlock/Dark - some purple clouds
Beastmaster/Druid/Nature - spring greek fairy dust/whirling leaves
Wizzard/Arcane - blue/purple magic sparkling dust
Forcemaster/Mind - some mind lightnings
Illussionist/Mind - no idea
Sorcerer - no idea
Warlord/War - forge sparks or some blood rain/cloud
Air - little whirlwind
Fire - whirling flames (subtele - so they wouldn't look like finnished spell)
Water/Earth - no idea

They could be packed 80 in package - so there should be enough for every page in spellbook.

Is there any chance of publishing articles with lore of Mage Wars? Maybe short compedium every X expantions, or article once in a while, or maybe wiki lore.

I am lookoing for something more organised and in one place, like those articles on this page under "All about Mage Wars".

Spellbook Design and Construction / Labirynth of Minotaur

It is not real spellbook design, but I find this idea cool and wanted to share.

With Warlord, there will be many new Earth spells. I can't wait to see them all and create Labirynth-like spellbook. Not sure yet, if it will be Warlord's or Wizard's build (but I'm biased toward Wizard).

The main concept will be around Wall of Stones and other walls, limiting movement and LoS of every creature. This will create an adventage for heavy meele fighters like Bloodcrag Minotaur, Earth Elemental or Iron Golem.
In case of flyiers, there is Gravikor. If you play Wizard, you could place it so Huginn will be out of range and can cast Teleport on you or your oponent for even further movement controll.
Walls also create nice environment for traps and simmilar spells.

Idea is purely based on theme rather than gameplay reasons, but I plan to give it a try.

Will Galador be ever released in ane expansion - I try very hard to make MW popular in my area, but it is possible that I would never be able to participate in a tournament.

BTW - was tere ever announced winner of Galador contest?

General Questions / Reverse Attack and Taunt and Deffence

When attack is reversed, is the attacker allowed to use it's deffence?

And if Sosruko's attack is reversed, does it Taunt itself? And if so, can creature attack itself? (it would make no sense, but just want to make sure)

- Are you allowed to see, what enchantment you are reversing?

Rules Discussion / Fast + Elusive + Charge

Is it possible to charge into the zone that creature is in. I mean - creature with Fast, Elusive and Charge (ie. Cervere with Rajan's Fury) moving out the zone that it and its target are both in and than back in and attacking the target - will it get Charge bonus?
With Fast trait, you can move twice before quick attack.
With Elusive, creature is not hindered by any creatures.

Strategy and Tactics / Not-so-obvious synergies

This topic is for posting and discusing cards, that could have use, that is not so obvious at first time.
For a start, here are 4:
- Darkfenee Bat - not really not-obvious, but it is an animal. It can be nice addition to Beastmaster's deck, but also makes some of nature's spell valuble for Warlock.

- Highland Unicorn - another animal. With it's group regeneration it seams perfect for BM swarm spellbook.

- Goran, Werewolf Pet - this creature is canine. He is Warlock-only, but Redclaw, Alpha Male has no restrictions. It made me thinking about wolf-based Warlock deck (maybe with Bats and animal buffs?) - I have not good spellbook idea yet, but I found it an interesting topic to consider.

- Samandriel, Angel of Light - with light immunity, she is immune to Blinding Flash, which will affect all of the other creatures in the zone (except casting Mage, of course).
