Apprentice Warlord and Necro Spellbooks

So since there aren't apprentice books for these 2 mages, I thought I would make some. I know that the beastmaster and warlock are generally considered the best 2 mages to use to teach people the game with and I will continue using those for that purpose.

I didn't make apprentice books for the Forcemaster and Druid because I feel like those are 2 of the Mages that are hardest to use properly. I don't want new players to have to deal with that, I want them to be able to pick up a spellbook and use it very easily.

These books are for people who have tried the game a couple times and wish to try other Mages out without advancing to the full game yet.

I had some simple requirements for the books:
1) No conjurations
2) 60 spellbook points or less
3) No more than 2 of any card


Please tell me what you guys think. I'm always open to advice and recommendations!

I'm not sure if this would really hamper them doing well, however, as Apprentice games seem to be won by whomever is most aggressive more than anything else. So, more focus might actually help to spur them into action. It also does a fair job at simulating the full Forcemaster experience, since they always have few creature options.

Yeah I didn't have any familiars either, just didn't mention that rule. And since all spawnpoints are conjurations (excluding Libro Mortuous), naturally none of those were included either.

I agree about the Druid though. She'll lose alot of what she is if an apprentice spellbook is made for her using these restrictions. If I did it with these restrictions I think it would be like the Beastmaster with the exception of the creatures. I'd replace all of the animals with plants of course, but not all that much would be different in the end.

I completely agree with the Forcemaster as well. I'd probably include her Stalker and maybe a Thoughtspore but that's about it creature-wise. Other than that, you're right, it'd pretty much simulate what a real Forcemaster book is like.
