Some Questions!
Are 6 tanglevines to much? They don't sync well with lashers?
6 Acid balls?
Basic dmg source?
Game Summary (maybe)
Basic deck overview?
The Phoenix shall rise.

I prefer to play to a classes strengths and a druids is board control.

People normally throw 2 tangles vines in a book if they are able but as a nature mage with a spawn point that can cast them for me with no loss of action they are great Deployment phase actions.  Also don't forget tanglevines remove GUARD/INTERCEPT because the restrain.  ;)

I did not have any other attack spells in the book so 6 spell points in acid ball had one purpose to make sure that there was no armor on my targets.  It also helped when I needed to kill constructs.

The Thorn Lashers were for pulling creatures and mages into bad positions when you mix it with tanglevines it means that other creatures might not be able to come help.  Or eat a teleport which is in most cases a 4 spell point spell.

On the book as a whole I would add an elemental wand a 2nd bear and a 2nd teleport I would also put in at least 2 hurl boulders.  I might have taken 1st place if I had the boulders.  Druid is the only class that can deal damage sustained damage with a mage wand via burst of thorns, drain life and drain soul exist but the mana cost can be prohibitive.

If you have any other questions fire away.

How did you mix up your openings based on each match?

My standard plan was tree and mana flowers.

For a few matches that changed based on my opponent.

When I fought a warlock I dropped my tree followed by a rain cloud.

I also pushed a lot of mages through walls of thorns.  ;D

After my initial setup though it really depended on what my opponent did.

Against the Aviary beast master I just put on my wand and burst of thorn all his birds.

Since dissolve is a range 1 spell if you have nullify and they are in a tangle vine there is no way from them to remove your wand at range 2.  Without something else breaking the tanglevine.

Barkskin is an interesting spell to you can use it like brace yourself in some ways.  2 armor 2 healing then let it drop to recast later for another 4 mana 2 cast /2 reveal.

Butterfly on your tree is like a Harmonize or extra healing even if it is one point.

Do you find all the tanglevines counter intutive with your lashers?
When did tataree and the angel come out?
What would you have done if your opponent did not come to you and instead sat back?

No they each serve a different purpose.
One is zone control people don't like to be lashed so they stay away.
Two is keeping people where I want them with Tanglevines and removing guard / intercept.

When did tataree and the angel come out?
The Tataree came out when I had time and 6 Mana.
-He was more of a side thought than a main focus, but he did get played a lot 3 out of 5 games I believe.
Angel came out on the same basis as needed.
-- Bunch of eagles coming get out the angel and stop their fast / charge attacks and she hinders them.
-- Your mage wand + burst of thorns will rip them apart.

A flying Bear Strength Angel won me almost 2 games honestly.

Would you have cut down on the acid balls: I run 2-3 max.
Did you open with any agressive strats?
What types of builds did you face and how did they play against you?

At the time no, they were throw away spells almost no match is going to go over 6 corrodes and that was only if i rolled 1-4 on the die for each acid ball.

Yes, I did come up with one in the last match.
Turn 1 summon bear, not sure if I enchanted it or not.
Turn 2 Teleport bear for 9 mana to my opponents side > Bear goes on a killing spree with Nullify support.

Reason I did this is my opponent had initiative and I though he would Deathlock so no benefit to a turn 1 tree without the life gain.  He did not Deathlock though.

Faced a Falcon Beastmaster, 2 Wizards no real theme to them that I remember, 1 Fire Warlock, 1 Necromancer (Twice :( )..

Other than the Warlock and the Necro fairly standard opening  Tree / Flower,  Flower / Flower kinda.

Warlock however was another beast.
Tree / Raincloud, Guardian Angel / (something?)
Gotta keep me tree safe

Necromancer first time I went with an early staff to try and cover field with vines.  This game went poorly for me.

2nd game Aggro bear was like a 3rd or 4th turn Graveyard kill.
I came close to wining that game had I a boulder or two I think I could have pulled it out.

I find dissolve is more useful than acid ball. With all the tricks to remove corrode, I find acid ball less useful than it used to be.

Think of the new armor pieces and constructs.

Do you really wana dissolve leather boots, gloves, pants?

An with constructs it can let you kill them with burst of thorns if the armor is lower.

Other than priestess an even her to an extent acid ball is a pretty solid spell IMO.  (It still takes her actions and mana.)

You also have rust at your disposal.  As a Druid your opponent should never have armor.
